Meet the Team

  • Carla Bennett

    Carla Bennet is a Director of Plymouth Science CIC. Previously she has worked as a Headteacher and Senior Leader in Plymouth Primary Schools for the past ten years. She has been awarded Science Teacher of the Year by the Primary Science Teaching Trust and is a Primary Science Quality Mark Hub Leader. Alongside this she is a STEM Learning facilitator and Explorify Champion.

  • Jodie Greaves

    Jodie Greaves is a Director of Plymouth Science. She is currently a lecturer at Marjons University for Initial Teacher Training. Prior to this, she served in leadership roles in Plymouth Schools. Jodie is also STEM Learning facilitator.

  • Bruce Robinson

    Bruce Robinson was a Secondary Chemistry teacher in a prior life but for the past few years has been running Science workshops through the Wonder Workshops name. Although retired, Bruce is a long term consultant and advocate for practical, awe inspiring science.

  • Richard Wotton

    Richard Wotton has over twenty years of experience in the classroom. During this time he has championed Science learning and played a collaborative role in Science hubs throughout the city.

  • Andy Robinson-Noades

    Andy Robinson is the Director of Scientrific, a Plymouth based company supporting STEM learning. Previously, Andy worked for the National Marine Aquarium, City College STEM LAB and in partnership with Lego League robotics. He collaborates with Plymouth Science on a number of projects.

  • Joseph McCann and Simon Smith

    Both experienced primary teachers.

    Joseph- EYFS/Computing/VR specialist and leads holiday club sessions.

    Simon- PE Lecturer at Marjons University. Supports and leads the holiday club provision.

  • Shoshahna Needham

    Experienced primary teacher. Science Leader in school. Supports holiday camps.
